Defensive Driving Program

Defensive Driving Program is back! We will be offering a Defensive Driving Program on Saturday September 13, 2008, at 8:00 AM. Bill Fleck will be instructing this class. The cost of the program is $30.00 and registration can be done by calling Linda Trachtenberg, EMS Registrar at 624-4539.

Labor Day Holiday

Air Medical Ground School Training

Geriatrics Class 
August 8, 2008
Faxton-St. Luke's EMS Education will be holding a Geriatrics Class for all CME participants on Wednesday, September 10, 2008. The class will start at 6:30PM at the EMS Training Center located at 2521 Sunset Avenue in Utica with Tony Salce instructing. INTERNATIONAL EMS COMPETITION 
August 7, 2008
The first annual International EMS Competition (IEMSC) was held August 1 and 2 in and around Utica. The EMS teams competed in 5 scenarios including 2 Trauma 2 Medical and 1 MCI. Teams were scored based on appropriateness, timeliness, safety and quality of teams response to each scenario. Congratulations to the Dryden Ambulance, who will travel to Poland to participate in the EMS competion in that country.
