RE:  All State EMS Council Meetings are CANCELLED due to weather for February 24th & 25th, 2026

Dear State EMS Council & EMS Community Members,

Due to the significant winter storm forecasted to impact a large portion of New York State, all State EMS Council meetings scheduled for Tuesday, February 24, and Wednesday, February 25, 2026, are CANCELLED.

Weather reports indicate that Nassau, Suffolk, New York City, and most of the Hudson Valley will receive up to one to two feet of snow, creating hazardous travel conditions and additional local EMS demands throughout the impacted areas.

For council members who have schedule their hotel through State EMS office as part of the room block, we have cancelled your hotel reservation.  If you have made other travel arrangements, or are not part of the room block, please cancel you arrangements today to avoid any associated fees.

We will provide updates later this week regarding potential rescheduled meeting dates and times.
