OASAS has generously funded “Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Considerations for EMS Providers” to be taught in a variety of locations around New York State. The course covers EMS response to incidents involving substance use disorder and/or mental health and provides EMS providers with tools to use in their everyday practice. A portion of the course will discuss EMS provider mental health and wellness.
