Behavioral Health & Substance Use Disorder Considerations for EMS

OASAS has generously funded “Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Considerations for EMS Providers” to be taught in a variety of locations around New York State. The course covers EMS response to incidents involving substance use disorder and/ or mental health and provides EMS providers with tools to use in their everyday practice. A portion of the course will discuss EMS provider mental health and wellness.
Classes are currently scheduled in NYC (7/12) Utica (8/11) and Binghamton (8/20) with more dates to follow
Due to the popularity of this opportunity we are looking into a second date- Thursday, September 8th
